Statement of the Swiss Psychology Society concerning the Parliamentary Initiative 21.497 “Nationwide Prohibition and Criminalization of Conversion Therapy”.
SPS welcomes the parliamentary initiative to create a legal foundation for a nationwide prohibition of conversion measures, also known as “conversion therapy”, or any other measures with the aim of changing (“reversion”) or suppressing a person´s sexual orientation, sexual identity, or sexual expression.
